Fri. Sept. 19 (B,L,D) Sightseeing includes visits to the Egyptian Museum, the Royal Manial Palace, Saladin’s

Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque, Sultan Hassan Mosque in Cairo

Sat. Sept. 20 (B,L,D) After breakfast, fly to Luxor and transfer to your deluxe Nabila Nile cruise vessel.  Check

in and have lunch before commencing a tour to Temples of Luxor and Amon in Luxor.

Sun. Sept. 21 (B,L,D) Cross the Nile by a local ferry to visit the West Bank including The Valley fo the Kings,

Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsur, and the Colossi of Mimnon.  Leisure afternoon

for sites not on tour program or explore the bazzaars in Luxor at your own pace in Luxor.

Mon. Sept. 22 (B,L,D) Morning visit to the Temple of the Ram Headed God Khnum at Esna, Temple of Horus

at Edfu, Sail on to Kom Ombo at night while enjoying a lively Galabia party.

Tues. Sept. 23 (B,L,D) Twin Temples of Haroeris and Sobek at Kom Ombo, reboard cruise and sil on to

Aswan.  After lunch take a Felucca to the Agha Khan Mausoleum in Aswan.

Wed. Sept. 24 (B,D)

Early morning transfer to airport for your flight to Abu Simbel (via Aswan) visit the great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple fo Queen Nefertari befor flying back to Cairo and transfer the El Gezirah Sheraton in Abu Simbel and then fly to Cairo.

Thur. Sept. 25 (B,L,D) Morning visit to majestiv pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and the Valley Temple.  Visit the

museum housing Cheops royal ark.  Lunch at elegant Mena House before visiting the ancient sites of Memphis and Sakkara in Cairo.

Fri. Sept. 26 (B) Full day of leisure in Cairo.

Sat. Sept. 27 (B,L) Tour Bab al Futuh and Bab an Nasr (Two great gates in the old city walls)  After lunch at El

Khan restaurant, go to the bazaars and open-air markets of Khan El Khalili for shopping spree.

Sun. Sept. 28 (B,L,D) See Christian and Jewish Cairo touring the Old Cairo’s Coptic churches of abu Serghius

and Al Molaka, the Coptic Museum and Ben Ezra synagogue.  After lunch stop briefly at Madinet Nasr to see the tomb of Egyp’s late president Anwar Sadat.

Mon. Sept. 29 (B,L,D) Morning visit to the Isamic Museum, the Gayer Anderson House (a pair of traditional

Arab houses joined together dating from 1540 and 1630 A.D.) and the Toulon Mosque.  In the evening see the Sound and Light show at Giza.

Tues. Sept. 30 (B,L) Morning visit to the Pharaonic village, lunch at Felfela or a local restaurant.  Leisure day

until late night transfer to airport for 1:30 am flight to Nairobi

Thurs. Oct. 2 (B) Starts tour of Tanzania Premier p. 9 In the afternoon go to Karen Von Blixen’s home a

museum.  Giraffe center and to the hotel early in the evening.  Stay at the Windsor Golf & Country Club.

Fri. Oct. 3 (B,L,D) Leave Nairobi for Ausha in time for lunch.  Visit the Meserani Snake Park then to the

Tarangire National Park.  Game drive enroute to the Tarangire Safari Lodge overlooking the Tarangire River.  Time for a sundowner before dinner.  Stay at the Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Sat. Oct. 4 (B,L,D) Game drive before breakfast.  After lunch drive to Lake Manyara for a night “under

Canvas” with views across the lake into the Rift Valley.  Stay at Kirurumu Tented Camp.

Sun. Oct. 5 (B,L,D) Game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park.  Stop at Gibb’s Farm for a farmhouse

lunch continuing on to Ngorongoro Crater.  Stay at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Mon. Oct. 6 (B,L,D) After breakfast, spend the day in the Crater with a picnic lunch returning to the lodge in

late afternoon.  Stay at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Tues. Oct. 7 (B,L,D) Depart after breakfast to the Serengeti.  Visit Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey

family’s famous excavatinos in their search for the origins of man.  Stop enroute for lunch, before driving into the northern part of the Serengeti for another night “under canvas”.  Stay at Migration Camp.

Wed. Oct. 8 (B,L,D) The Migration Camp is on the edge of a conservation area of the Serengeti.  Today, there

are options to enjoy short walks or game drives in the northern Serengeti.  Stay at Migration Camp.

Thurs. Oct. 9 (B,L) One last game drive before boarding your return flight to Arusha where you stop for lunch

and then continue by road to Nairobi.  Stay at the Windsor Golf & Country Club.

Fri. Oct. 10 (B) Nairobi leisure.  Rooms are held until departure for a farewell dinner at the famous Carnivore

Restaurant and then to the airport for flight out to Harare.  Day room at Windsor Golf & Country Club.

Sat. Oct. 11 (    ) Amboseli  Fly across the plains towards Tanzani, Mt. Kilimanjaro and the

Amboseli National Park.  Stay in the park at the foot of Mt. K at Ol Tukai Lodge or Amboseli Lodge or Tortilis Camp.

 

Sun. Oct. 12 (   ) Two game drives in Amboseli.  Stay at Ol Tukai Lodge or Amboseli Lodge or Tortilis Camp.

Mon. Oct. 13 (   ) Early morning game drive in Amboseli.

Tues. Oct. 14 (B,L) Mombasa  Full day excursion to Chale Paradise Island.  Explore goggle or relax on the

pristine beach on the beautiful Kenya Coast.  Stay at Indian Ocean Beach Club

Wed. Oct. 15 (   ) Mombasa Stay at Indian Ocean Beach Club

Thurs Oct 16 Starts Best of Kenya p 10 Leisure day in Nairobi. Stay at Norfolk Hotel

Fri Oct 17 Full day of sightseeing in and around Nairobi. Citi and museum. lunch at hotel. drive out into the Ngong Hills and watch traditional Massai display of dance, fire making, and wedding ceremony. Visit a local Enkang before dinner in Nairobi.  Stay at Norfolk Hotel.

Sat. Oct. 18 (B,L,D) This morning drive north across the Equator to the Samburu Game Reserve arriving in

time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.  Stay at Larsens.

Sun. Oct. 19 (B,L,D) Morning and afternoon game drives.  See species, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa Oryx and many birds.  Leopard also prosper here.  Your camp located on the banks fo the Uaso Nyiro River provide peaceful surrounding for relaxing by day, and sharing your days’ experiences around the campfire by night.  Stay at Larsens.

Mon. Oct. 20 (B,L,D) After breakfast, drive to Nyeri.  Stop for lunch at the Outspan Hotel then continue by park transport through the forests of the Aberdare Ranges and finally on foot with an armed ranger to Treetops, the famous tree hotel.  Enjoy the stars and animals as they come to Treetops two lit waterholes to drink and to scratch for salt.

Tues. Oct. 21 (B,L,D) Return by park transport to the Outspan Hotel for breakfast before continuing on into the

Great Rift Valley and Nakuru for lunch.  Take a drive in the park renowned for its great concentration of lesser flamingo.  You may see Leopard now thriving here.  Visit Lake Nakuru’s Rhino Sanctuary before continuing on to the hotel.  Stay at Lake Naivasha Country Club.

Wed. Oct. 22 (B,L,D) Ascend from the Rift Valley and drive south across the volcanic plain to the Maasai Mara

National Reserve.  This most famous of Kenya’s National Parks covers over 590 square miles of open plains, acacia woodlands and riverine forests along the Mara and Talek Rivers.  Stay at Keekorok Lodge.

Thurs. Oct. 23 (On morning and afternoon game drives you will surely see any animals which you might not

have already checked off your list.  The Mara (Northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park) is hojme to abundant wildlife in Kenya: elephant, Lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebesst, Thomson’s gazelle, eland and Maasai giraffe and more.  Stay at Keekorok Lodge.

The tour says that on Fri. I would return to Nairobi for leisure after breakfast in Maasai Mara and I would have a day room at the Norfolk hotel.
